Activities that members are encouraged to be involved in include:

Open Days (biennially in August)
Celtic Festival in May
School Holiday children’s craft sessions (free event)
Cancer Council's ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ (bring a friend!)
Occasional community presentations (spin, show and tell)
Participation in the biennial Fibre Muster
Participation in the Spinning & Weaving Section of the annual Berry Agricultural Show (Friday & Saturday of the last weekend in January or the first weekend in February. This section is also sponsored by our group. Members are encouraged to enter their work.
Each year we raise funds for a local charity and also knit for charity
Please bring along any ideas you may have…

If you wish to join us, the cost is as follows:

  • Membership is $30.00 and due after two week’s of attendance
  • Then paid annually before the Annual Genera Meeting on 2nd Thursday in April
  • Come along to a meeting and complete the membership form on the day, or
  • ‘Contact Us’ here on the website and a membership form will be sent to you by post or email
  • A donation of $1.00 attendance money per weekly meeting is appreciated
  • You are also requested to sign the attendance book at the weekly meeting
  • Coffee and tea is available (and many members often bring in something yummy to nibble!)
  • Name badges are available to order through the Secretary ($15.00 ea)

Our library contains an extensive range of books and magazines available for all paid members to borrow. Topics include: Spinning, Knitting, Crochet, Weaving, Textiles, Dyeing, Felting, General Craft, Sewing, Specialist Weaving…and much more.
